I... didn't realize it had been that long. This year has been seriously, overwhelmingly Full Of Things -- tons of travel, tons of drama, tons of events and organizational crap that had to get done. But hopefully things have calmed down, just in time for my favorite fannish things to commence! Those being, of course, hockey season and Yuletide ( Read more... )

It's good to see you here! I hope it's mostly been good drama and fun travel, and not too much crap! I also hope LJ will finally let me post and stop eating my comments!

Aww, thanks! There's been some of each, but overall I'd say it was more good than bad, so I can't complain. :) It is very good to see you around as well, and I hope things are on the upswing for you. *hugs*

hallo!!! Yes, Yuletide makes me go 'hmm, I should crawl out from under this rock' too. :)

Witch Week!!! I should re-read that. It is an area of DWJ fic possibilities I have not yet mined for potential awesome. :)

Yuletide is inspiring that way! :D

Currently on AO3 Witch Week seems to be subsumed under Chronicles of Chrestomanci, but I kind of think it should be a separate fandom -- iirc only Chrestomanci overlaps, and he's fairly incidental to the book in most important-for-ficwriting ways (other than being the effective deus ex machina of the plot). But we'll see! It was the first DWJ book I ever read, and I still have a huge soft spot for it. :)
