Oh my goodness, your icon... just, guh. So pretty, and so evocative.

I just ordered the S1 of Chuck from amazon, so I can devour rather than deal with netflix's bite-sized pieces. I predict there will be much consumption over the break. And probably some brainstorming...

I'd love to have a marathon of the first season of Chuck - I have the DVDs, but I haven't got around to watching them. Too much new TV all the time!

OMG. If you do an Obnoxious Jerks bandom AU, I will be pestering you for permission to write stories in it, because...whoah. Yeah.

btw, tell me this: How much of a faux pas is it to submit an un-beta'd story for Yuletide? At the rate I'm going, I won't be able to get it beta'd before the upload deadline. thanks.

*laugh* I can tell you right now I would be thrilled if you wrote stories in it, before or after or in parallel or however you like, really. There might be some brainstorming posts in the future; definitely feel free to weigh in, or even start without me if you want. I don't mind ( ... )

Re: beta, good to know. It's not going to be horrendously long; the first part (which is done) is about 2700 words, and I expect the other two to be shorter. If I can get it done by the 19th, I will gladly zap it over to you. It's likely to be done by tomorrow night, actually.

Sounds good! If you get the chance, I'd be curious about the fandom -- maybe send me a private message or something? So I can do a quick wiki search or something if I'm not familiar with it. Or if I'm not familiar with it and you want a beta that is, you can always email the yuletide mods and ask for one; they'll send out email to the other people who offered it to see if anyone can do it. And the IRC system is cool because they have "hippos" -- people who are basically a clearinghouse for requests, so you ping them privately and then they send out a general call to the room.
