RPS Batch 1: Supernatural Universal Epics

Mar 14, 2007 02:16

I have apparently entered the next circle of hell, and god, do I love it here. I have been mainlining RPS (Real Person Slash, also known as RPF, or Real Person Fiction) for the last week or so, despite having originally been rather on the fence about it. It still weirds me out a bit whenever I think too hard about the fact that these stories are ( Read more... )

Aagh! I need to get ready for work, but I'm finding it incredibly difficult to drag myself away from these! No more Livejournal for me in the morning!

<3 Thank you for the sweet torture~

Wow, you've been reading up a storm, haven't you?

Have you read The Jared Padalecki Untitled Project by esohpe? I don't usually care for RPS unless it's cracktastic AUs where the boys are space pilots or ninja assassins or something, but this one really grabbed me, and based on what you've recced, you'd probably like it also.

I really have, it's been sort of insane around here. I have a research project I've been neglecting, and the more it looms, the more I avoid it... And reading has always been one of my major outlets for work avoidance.

Ooooooh, that looks right up my alley, thank you for the rec! I've read one of esohpe's Sam/Dean fics ( Devil Driven>, which will probably get put in a future rec list, because it was excellent), and I was blown away by the fanvid God's Gonna Cut You Down, so I was aware of liking what I'd seen by esohpe. I just hadn't gotten around to looking for more yet. This will be the perfect thing for me to read over the weekend, as a reward for getting through this week. Whee!

*grin* The cracktastic AUs you mention sound terribly fun, too -- I expect I'll be eager to read them when I come upon them.
