Yes, it might not be a skin problem at all. There could be some underlying cause that has nothing to do with allergies, or your skin. It could be some sort of nutrient deficiency, most people are somewhat deficient in one or more of the important vitamins and minerals. If the doctors are doing bloodwork, they should really do a basic blood profile before doing all the allergy checking shit. Then they could see if, say, your white blood cell count was high which could mean there's some sort of infection. They also check glucose levels and stuff like that. That's what we do for the animals at the shelter if we are not sure what is wrong with them. And if it's good enough for stray cats, it's good enough for Lynda! lol.
