Back story: Last year, when Women in Informatics was forming, I was very interested in helping found it and recruiting members and everything. But the girl that became president, Kim, left me out of everything. I really think she has hated me from the beginning. Kim would schedule meetings at times that I couldn't attend and not send me emails

Wtf? I can't blame you for thinking that this chick is going out of her way to exclude you. That's what it sounds like to me.

Then again, I have the same thing happen with this girl at church. And I think it is because she feels threatened. I have to feel sorry for her; if she's so insecure about herself that she wants to keep people from helping her out with stuff...that's her own problem.

But this whole thing just sucks. She has no right to keep you out of the club.
