Toaster 2.0

“The bread goes into the slots on the top,” Claudia said and smirked at Helena as she passed by her on the way to the coffee pot.

Helena rolled her eyes at Claudia’s back and slipped two pieces of toast into the toaster.

“Thank you Claudia. I don’t know what I would do without you, darling,” Claudia said in her best British accent. “Oh HG, don’t ( Read more... )

Way cute.... and hey, I'd love it if my toaster would not 'tell' me my toast was done but if it were to bring it to me also... awesome!

I can just imagine Leena flipping out over HG busting the microwave.
"But it SAID the soup was microwave-able!"
"NOT IN THAT CONTAINER!"
Claudia would just sit in a corner looking guilty for not getting there in time...

I agree, though for some reason I have trouble seeing Leena getting upset with Helena. I think she would be gentler in her approach if she knew it was not intentional. If Helena took her mixer apart to see what it looked like inside or messed with it preventing Leena from making cookies or scones, well... that's a different story! LOL

Artie on the other hand getting mad, that I can see. He's trying to use the microwave and finds out that HG busted it. Perhaps the microwave in the office at the warehouse :)

Awhh... This is really funny. I love the fact that Claudia acts as HG's mentor of the future tech. I will never look at my toaster the same... now it will be way cooler.(Except now I will expect it to walk and talk)

Thanks! :) I'm glad you enjoyed it. I had a good time writing it.
I kind of imagine that Helena and Claudia would bond over their love for technology and engineering.
Be nice to your toaster ;)
