I'm still hoping Arthur will just get it over with and hook up with Merlin

You and fandom, haha.

That's why even though I fully accept that Arthur and Gwen need to hook up in the series, because hey, that's the legend, after all -- I don't really enjoy it that much, just because I know what's going to happen and I feel bad for Arthur.

Lol. I can't help it! They're always griping at each other, it's too cute. X) I do know it's never going to happen, though.

I too, feel bad for Arthur. =/

I know, right? =/ The dough of the tart tasted a bit floury, if that makes any sense.

XD Didn't you watch a few episodes? I remember you were saying it didn't strike you very much..

Lol! I almost wish they'd change the story and let her marry Lancelot. They've changed so many other major things (especially the Mordred storyline, which I thought was essential for the ending), so why not, huh? XD Arthur and Merlin can live out their lives as cranky bachelors bitching at each other all the while. *g*

And what do you mean Merlin was dropped? =/ You mean they changed its airing slot?

Yeah, in Mists he was Mogaine and Arthur's son, though most legends cast him as the son of Arthur and Morgause. One thing I never truly understood about Mists is why they deceived Morgaine into sleeping with her own half brother. Did they have no concept of the consequences of such an action?

Another thing I've always questioned about Arthur is his act of killing all the baby boys when Mordred was born. It seemed so ruthlessly out of character..

Btw, I too loved Mists! Great retelling. Have you read The Once and Future King? That's my other favorite. :)

And phew! You scared me! I can wait a week.

Oooh...well, perhaps there's a local cafe/bakery that might have something similar??

I do like both guys as well, though I think as a character, Arthur is a little more interesting. (Which isn't surprising, since Lancelot hasn't had many episodes).
