The p'tong means you've failed your primary connections and are stepping down to a lower speed. If you hear it, SOMEONE'S phone line sucks.

I think I can say I "cared" about VR.5. I was disappointed that it was canceled and would like to have seen the rest of the story. And not just because Giles was in it because this, you know, was before that (when he was just the Taster's Choice guy).
