We got a call yesterday from OMSI. Okay, two calls... this, I hope, is a good sign?

Ah. Yes. I put in an application to work some volunteer time at OMSI (mostly to get the free admission, but also cause OMSI just rocks). The volunteer coordinator is overjoyed to have me, and I go in for orientation on the 17th. A bit of training after that, and then they'll put me out on the floor, working with visitors and possibly class trips. Most likely in Tech, Physics, or Chemistry, but she's keeping options open until we find out what demand is like.

I'm thinking of applying for a full time position there (they had an opening for a science exhibit designer), but I don't want to put off school, so... Tough choices.

That would seriously rock, but I know that once a person stops going to school, it's bloody tough to go back to it.
