Depression....

I think I figured out why I have been so depressed today... at least in part.

Today is the fourth year anniversary of my father's death. I was thinking about him the past few days. I drove by the C.J. Brown Reservoir recently and reflected on the memories of my father and I going to the reservoir when I was a youth. We both liked to go ( Read more... )

I miss him a lot.

Then he did good. He deserves to be remembered. Make your life something he'd admire.

I hope no one would actually consider 'getting over it' and forgetting the same thing. Never forget, but I'm sure your father would not want you to be miserable. I know every time I've been through hard times I get to a point where I'm tired of hearing everyone tell me how sorry they are, and not just treating me normal, so hey, remember when we were talking back at Origins about gaming. I'm free every week night after 8, except Fridays. Give me a shout on here, or my email is malkav81@gmail.com. Hope things look up again for you soon old friend.

I'd love to start gaming again. I start school and will be away Monday through Friday afternoon. I could probably game on Saturdays or Sundays (anytime Saturday and Sunday evening). What types do you folks game?

I'm open to anything. My preference has always been anything WOD. My current group is playing Shadow Run on late Friday nights, but we're rotating game masters and each is running different stuff every few months. I'm open to anything with a good game master... I'd even give D&D a try again, with a good DM, but those are few and far between. Weekends are only tough because it's the only time I get to spend with the wife due to our goofy schedules. Too bad she doesn't want to game too.

I understand about weekends. I started graduate school this weekend and live in Delaware Ohio throughout the week and come home most Fridays and return back to school on Monday (there are some Fridays and Saturdays that I have class which makes the week really long, but I'm home on most Fridays). Until I get a better indication of my class work load combined with my two jobs I'll have a better understanding as to whether I can game on Fridays. I would like to game , as it would be nice to have a hobby I can actually engage in! Lets keep in touch, and we'll see what happens.
