This little punishment of Cronus's isn't really all that bad...yet. I mean, only getting two hours of sleep is bound to have it's drawbacks, but coffee helps for now. And...adrenaline, I believe. I wonder how long that can actually hold up ( Read more... )

Perhaps you could suggest better flowers, then. It seems common to offer them as an apology, and I'm sure they could use the help. What do orange lilies symbolize?

And cell phones? Are those like the tellyfone Peitho mentioned?

Oh, I have! Purple hyacinth actually symbolizes forgiveness; orange lilies mean hatred.

And yes! They're...little portable tellyfones. You can do all sorts of things on them, though, but...well, as long as I can get calls, that's all that matters right now.

Oh...my. I hope the women they give those flowers to don't know that!

They sound quite useful; perhaps I should get one.

The good news is that I don't think many people pay so much attention to bouquets outside of the general, aesthetic appeal.

And I'd reccommend one. I haven't done much with it, yet, but it seems like it'll be a useful little device in the future.

Whenever you like. Just let me know ahead of time so I can be there. Or I can always come up and deliver it..?

And you should give me both of your cell phone numbers. My work made me get one. I feel like they're trying to leash me in or something... Am I that hard to keep up with?

That might work better. I'm not going anywhere for the rest of the evening, so feel free to come up when you get the chance.

And you do have the tendency of being...mm, 'all over the place' as the mortals put it. I'll give you my number when you come up, though.

I'm all over the place..?

Really?

And will do!

It wouldn't surprise me at all if Zeus came bearing orange lilies, Persephone. Although he would probably do it on purpose.

If he does come to your shop in search of such a thing, please do me a favor and kill him.

I...will certainly do my best, Hera. But I wouldn't let him buy you orange lilies, either. Bluebells might be more fitting...

...I need some flowers, darling.

If I were to hypothetically romance someone, what would you recommend?

Mmmm...orchids and snapdragons, I think. Both can represent seduction and desire. Plus they're very lovely flowers.

Lovely. Could you please make me a bouquet, then? Price is no object. Thank you, darling.

Absolutely! Ah, as long as you don't mind waiting a day or so. After an incident yesterday, I won't be into the store again until Thursday.
