Noriko laughed, it was somewhat humorous to be talking to someone about her age from another time entirely. Aliens were one thing, Nori had learned to deal with them at school, but she'd never met a time traveler. Not in the same sense anyhow.

"Yeah, they are." She uncrossed her arms and held them out, as if expecting Moira to look them over. "I have no idea where they're broken, but I'm pretty sure it's the right one. I can't really tell the difference anymore."

Moira took a step closer, not touching them but examining them from a close distance without physical contact. Moira used her magesight to see inside the gauntlets and found numerous twists and turns of electricity. "These are bloody complex. What do you use em for exactly?" Moira asked looking up.

The blue haired girl chuckled. "Everything?" Really Noriko wasn't quite sure herself, and she'd had the gauntlets for what felt like forever. "They regulate how much energy I take in, and put out. Usually I can turn it on and off at will, but sometimes they do it on their own." She gave a shrug.

"Need a demonstration?"

Moira frowned, casting out her senses and taking in Noriko's. It was curious. "Sure a demonstration would be ace."

Nodding, Noriko spread her feet slightly and raised her right arm to be parallel with the ground. The air around the pair suddenly grew very thick with static before it dropped quickly, Noriko's arm surrounded by coursing blue electricity. Palm facing the lake, the entirety of her hand engulfed in a blue light, there was a loud zapping sound as a beam shot into the water. A sizzle followed, and then Noriko put her arm down to her side.

"Demo over."
