Owen wanted a coffee. After everything that had happened so far, he felt like he was going to explode. It wouldn't be Ianto's coffee, but it was better than nothing. And nothing was what he had at the moment. He made his way into the cafe, got a coffee, and was walking out when he saw him.

His steps were almost shaky as he made his way over to the small table outside.

"Jack," he asked. There was a look of doubt in his eyes. No way was this Harkness. Was it?

Jack heard his name and he blinked. When he looked up at the man addressing him, he didn't think he knew him. But the memories of another Jack Harkness took over and filled in the blanks for him. Owen Harper. He shifted in his seat, tapping his finger on the side of the mug.

How did you deal with someone you knew, but didn't know? Someone who knew you, but not really.

"Owen, right?" He knew it probably would sound a little odd to the man. A smile was offered to him. "Wanna join me?"

"Right. Owen..." Owen tilted his head to the side, eying Jack a little oddly. The tone made him think Jack didn't know who he was. Was that what Ianto had meant?

Nodding his head, he pulled out a chair and sat down. "So..."

"It's a little strange. I feel like I should introduce myself to you, but you already know who I am." Jack rubbed the back of his neck, an absent gesture. Where to go from here.

Time travel and different dimensions. It was enough to give a man a headache. Jack had thought he had adjusted to everything long ago. But it looked like he was still learning.

"I'm from a different time line than you and Ianto. And somehow I ended up with your Jack's memories." He figured it would be best to just dive right on in with the explanation.
