Harry looked up from where he was sitting. He had been dozing in the mid-afternoon sunlight, book by his side. It had been an exhausting read and he was only seven chapters in.

He saw Neil sit down on the bunch with a smile, perplexing to be sure, but it wasn't any of his business. That, however, didn't mean he wasn't going to go over and say hi.

Leaving his book behind, Harry stood and crossed to where Neil was sitting.

"Hey."

The voice startled him, and he looked up from wherever in space he'd been staring to find Harry Potter standing by the bench, smiling slightly in greeting.

For a while, Neil hadn't known how to feel about the boy, what with the whole wizard and Snape thing and all. But recently, he'd gotten to talk to him a bit, and was pleasently surprised. He still didn't know him all that well, but Harry seemed... nice. Funny. A teenage kid just like Neil, who was maybe just a little lost in life too.

"Hi! What are you doing here?"

"Same thing as you I suspect," Harry said with a jovial smile. "Getting out and enjoying the sun."

Neil nodded. "It's beautiful, isn't it? I woke up this morning and just... couldn't stay inside."

He noticed a book in Harry's hand and gestered to it. "What're you reading?"

Harry snorted and dropped the book on the bench beside Neil. "My biography apparently."
