Harry barged into their flat, snow coating his hat and eyelashes and he chucked off his mittens and hat and tossed them into the corner. He had gone out with Bart that afternoon and gone sledding. His cheeks were pink from the cold and his hair was molded to his head in the shape of his hat. He pulled off his jacket and hung it on it's peg and then entered the living room.

Persephone shot out from under the couch, wrapped around his legs twice, before darting into the kitchen. Harry chuckled and shook his head, following the kitten.

"Hey!" he greeted in surprise.

Thank god you're home!

"Hello. Did you enjoy yourself?" Severus asked, smirking at the snow still stuck to various bits of Harry.

"I had a blast. I've never gone sledding before." Harry moved forward and raised himself up onto tiptoe and kissed him. "I wish you had come though."

Severus arched his brow. "I can hardly picture myself...sledding." The very idea made his bones ache. "You didn't sled while you were Hogwarts?"

Harry shrugged, shivering. "Nope, had enough snowball fights, but I never got to sled."
