She hadn't really wanted to show up after her visit with Athena, but she'd promised Bill that she would, and she didn't want to disappoint him. She decided that she wouldn't tell anyone about that; about Athena. The whole thing had upset her.

She'd drowned herself in getting ready and making sure she looked as good as possible. Her Goddess costume fell mid-calf and the heels made her legs appear to go on forever. Her hair was swept up with curls falling down around her face.

Laura arrived just ahead of Bill, and she waited outside for him.

Teddy looked around at all the people now surrounding him and his eyes went wide. He giggled at the two new comers. "You gots sheets too."

Teddy held out his cape and made a whooshing noise before flying away in search of Harry and Sev'us.

Bill watched Teddy zoom off. "I think I can see why you come back tired after tutoring," he murmured to Laura. Before turning his attention back to his boys and their...'sheets', as the kid so aptly put it.

"Well, it obviously wasn't from my side," he shot back, adjusting his wreath a little (frakking thing kept slipping). "I picked the longest one they had. Who knew our ancestors were so fond of showing leg?"

Lee had been caught by Ianto briefly and had spoken with him about his embarassing costume, but was just making his way to his brother, and his father. He came to stand at Zak's side, just a hair shorter, and with a bit more muscle, but the brothers looked good together. They always had. "This was his idea." Assured to the Admiral, just so that he didn't think that Lee had chosen these outfits on his own. And he was giving a brief bow. "Emperor, Lady Goddess." He smiled some and straightened up, then took another sip of his drink (that would definitely help him loosen up-- Zak was hell bent on getting him drunk tonight).

Bill shook his head, as he returned Lee's bow with an ancient Colonial salute. "Why am I not surprised?" he said, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. "It's good to see you both."

He noticed the glass in Lee's hand. "Is that, er, 'alcohol'?" he asked, pausing a little over the unfamiliar word.

"He's just being modest." Protested, like it wasn't all the kid's idea. "Lee wanted to go with just the skirts. But I said it was too cold." Hah! Zak lifted his eyebrows and took a sip of his drink as well, then nodded. "Yeah, Pop." And Leland there just needed to keep drinking..

Yeah, he was hellbent on getting his big brother drunk. It was entertaining. And Lee needed it.

Bill was really failing to retain the front of the stoic emperor/Admiral, and had to stifle a laugh with one hand. He'd forgotten how well his boys seemed to work with one another. Lee had always seemed a little lost, after...well.

"Indeed," he managed to say. "Now, which of you brave warriors," emphasising the last part a little with the hint of a smile, "would care to undertake the perilous task of bringing back some of that refreshment for your Emperor and Lady Goddess?"

Zak grinned a little and nodded, "Sure thing." Volunteered before Lee could do so. This way the older Adama boy could stay and talk with Bill and Laura. Zak slipped off, getting lost among the crowd yet again.
