The day had been trying, to say the very least. Compounded upon Integra's already heavy burden after the war was the sneaking suspicion she had that she wouldn't be able to return to London at all. It was a thought that she was sure should be more distressing than she was actually finding it, but she had blamed most of her apathy on shock ( ... )

Byron hadn't been at all unaware of the appraising eyes of the young woman-- in a vague sort of way she reminded him of Miska, if only the young Noblewoman had managed to be honestly amused by something from time to time.

She also felt like a Hunter to Byron--it was a aura that even humans had a hard time hiding, although from past experience it was the last thing he expected to encounter here where the majority of people couldn't even tell he was of Noble birth.

Deciding swiftly that to scope out a potential enemy was better done sooner than later, Byron shook his head a little in the woman's direction as he waited for his coffee.

"I thought I was used to unpredictable weather from where I grew up, but this place never ceases to amaze me. I'm parked...rather inconveniently to leave right now." She almost chuckled as he commented about the falling rain being soothing, as she had drawn much the same conclusion about nerve function, but she conceded to smile as well.

Of course, when he spoke his name, everything made much more sense and she instantly felt less...strained about the whole thing.

"Ah, Baron Balaz! It's nice to finally meet you. I'm Sir Hellsing, from the forums. We spoke a few days after I got in."

"Lady Hellsing, what a wonderful surprise." Refusing to sit unless he was invited, Byron sufficed in standing by her table and bowing slightly in introduction. She was a stunning woman up close, and if Byron hadn't spent the better part of two years now in complete abstiance of human blood he might have found himself tempted.

And yet something stopped him mid thought. There was something about her. No...something familiar. She was spoken for. How he could tell he didn't exactly know, but it was a distant, familiar feeling, on the very precipice of his memory. "I see you still haven't settled your transportation issue-- or have you decided to stay for a while?" If she truly were just passing through, Byron would be lucky.
