Who: Moira and Ian (and a brief appearance by Lulu) What: a Vday surpriiise When: Backdated to Valentine's Day Where: Starting at the Lulu/Clarice/Moira abode Rating: idek ♥
Ian wasn't all that sure Lulu had the mental fortitude to put up with an hours worth of harassment from Moira and wouldn't cave and tell before the time was up, but when he arrived at their door and was greeted with some shouting and cajoling, he readjusted his thinking a tad.
Straightening his tie, he pushed the doorbell and stepped back to wait.
Before long, Moira had focused her efforts enough to feel that it was Ian at the door. Why Lulu would be so happy at Ian coming over was beyond her, but apparently it warranted the blonde to grin even more widely as she opened the door. Moira had forgotten what she was wearing until the door opened and the cold air rushed in. And she saw Ian looking gorgeous and in a tie. It did just enough to make her not feel entirely self-conscious. As it was, she was uncomfortably standing in the black dress with her hair pulled mostly away from her face. "I didn't know you were coming."
Lulu looked over at Ian, to gauge his response to her outfit choice. Yes, she was concerned about Moira's heart and how much more it could be put through, but she had to face facts. Ian was good for her. Moira smiled a lot more when she was talking to or about Ian and Lulu was glad her friend had gotten back to smiling.
"You weren't supposed to." Ian grinned and pulled a pink rose bud from his pocket. He twirled it between his fingers for a moment until he tucked it into her hair.
Lulu had managed to get Moira into a dress.
A dress that actually went above her knees no less, but not even that could distract her from the self-conscious smile he was getting and he pressed a kiss to the corner of her lips. "You look beautiful," he told her.
Lulu rolled her eyes at the two of them, grabbed Moira's coat and purse (that she had been stashing by the door just for this), handed them to her friend and subtly (for Lulu at least), went into the other room.
Moira flushed as pink as the rose. "I. Thank you? What's this for?" Somehow the witch had forgotten that today was in fact Valentine's Day.
