Bod had spent the past hour and a half roaming the literature section of the library. He'd already tried his old failsafe, the books on psychology and studies of human behavior, but nothing had given him the insight that he needed, so he'd turned to the classics. Here, too, he was having trouble finding what he needed. True, Mr. Darcy was hailed as one of the 'bad boys' of the literary world, but Bod couldn't figure out exactly why-- pride was the man's biggest vice, and yes, he was a jerk, but that was about it. The other fellow- the soldier- he was closer, but there wasn't much about him, just his actions. And nothing, nothing he'd stumbled across had that combination of charm, questionable morals, and tendency towards excess that he needed to study, and he was frustrated. It had occurred to him to try the... romance section of the library, but he was going to do anything he could to avoid that fate. He suspected he was going to have to borrow one of Dean's fake ids and hide in a bar for a night or several in order to observe people

Tia always knew when someone was calling her, even if they didn't use her name, so when the boy she didn't know called "Hey" and "Excuse me," she stopped walking and waited for him to catch up to her. When he peered at her, she smiled. She wasn't getting much from him yet, but she could tell that he was curious about her, both from what he'd said and what he hadn't.
"Oh, no," she said, smiling. "I was just looking around, it's the first time I've been here. I'm Tia." She tipped her head a little as she looked at the boy. "Were you looking for something?"
"Hullo, Tia, I'm Bod," he said, returning the smile. "And- and yes, I'm looking for something, but I'm afraid I'm not having a good deal of luck finding it." He sighed. "Usually I'm pretty good at finding what I want, here. Then again, I find everything interesting, and I rarely look for anything specific..." he trailed off. "Sorry, I'm rambling a bit. What were you looking for, exactly?" He glanced around. "And is anyone looking for you...?"
Tia nodded; this boy seemed nice enough. There was a faint darkness, but it wasn't of him...more of things that had happened to him, surrounded him. Past, though, not future. And Tia always had trouble seeing into the past. The future was easier. She nodded at his words. "I wish I could help but since this is the first time I've been here I don't know if I could find what you were looking for either." She shook her head. "It's okay. Rambling is good. I was looking for a book to read, or maybe a couple."
Bod's concern for her took her by surprise, and when he asked her if anyone was looking for her, she immediately thought of Tony...but that wasn't what he meant. And Tony wasn't here, anyway. She would be able to feel him if he were. "No, I don't think so."
