Someone was humming. Quite nicely too, Arthur grudgingly admitted. Very pretty. But still. It was odd and didn't fit in with the general mood of the castle and its inhabitants.
That and the humming was female and very not Morgana.
Which was why, when he finally caught up to the source of the humming the first words out of his mouth were, "Who are you?"
He couldn't quite believe this, nor did he have a reason to. Nor did he know how a pretty young woman had come to claim she had just "moved into the castle". Seeing how his father had been in a strop for ages now, that really left two people who might be willing to let a complete stranger into their lives.
One was currently frightening beyond reason and pregnant and the other was an idiot with terribly large ears.
"Arthur," he answered in a distracted, off-hand manner. "Might I ask who let you stay here?"
Giselle frowned at Arthur's distraction, not sure what he meant. "I don't understand. I came here looking for a place to stay, discovered there was room, and was invited to stay." She smiled. "Really, everyone here has been very kind."
