Wesley didn't know which he was more excited about--actually seeing Dairine work a wizardry or getting to see the first truly familiar sights since his arrival in town. He waited by the pond, skipping stones in an effort to rid himself of the nervous energy. He always felt a little nervous before leaving the atmosphere, and compared to how often that happened before, it had been a while. Above him, indigo threads crept from the west, blurring the horizon into a pale shadow.
Then, suddenly, there was a bang like a pressure chamber collasping and Dairine was standing there, livid and totally flustered.
"Hey, Dairine, what's...what's the matter?"
