Lulu was wandering around town, not quite her usual cheerful self. The nightmare had taken a bit more out of her than she would care to admit to. As it was, she was drawn to the train station and nearly stopped in the middle of the street. It appeared that it was Ianto! Lulu didn't even wait to see if it was her Ianto, she just ran up to the man and gave him a gigantic hug.

As it turned out, Lulu was in luck, because the Ianto she was squeezing was snapping his mobile shut and squeezing her right back. Not too hard, of course, he didn't want to hurt her. Still, it was very good to see her! He missed her cheer badly.

"It's good to see you, too, Lulu," he murmured into her ear, laughing a little. That was the first time ever that someone threw themselves at him for a hug.

She could barely contain a grin, shocked that she was even smiling after the events of the near past. But Ianto was back! Which could only mean that things were looking up. And he remembered her name, so he was her Ianto. "I missed you," she replied simply. It was good to see him back. She knew Jack would be happy. And an entire host of other people.

"I missed you, too." Hell, he missed everyone. Ianto pulled back, just a bit, to really look at her, to see how she had changed. Not by much, really. "I brought presents, so it's not too bad that I've been away, is it?"
