Lulu was still sleeping at that time. The only days she got up before 10:30 were days when she had to be somewhere specific or was planning one of her cooking extravaganzas. So she left the cake and pie on the counter for Moira who'd been up for a couple of hours already.

Moira opened the door, with a genuine smile on her face. Since Ian had been talking to her again, there wasn't a single thing wrong in town. And as it was Aternaville, she knew that couldn't last too long. Something odd was bound to happen soon, but she'd take advantage of the happiness while she could. "Happy Birthday, Zak," she grinned, giving her boyfriend a kiss.

"I like this happy birthday thing from you." He wrapped his arms around her waist, grinning easily while returning the kiss. "And thank you."

Finally pulling away, he lifted his eyebrows at the strawberry blonde. "Are we ready?" Zak peeked around for the dogs. "The mutts wanna come with us?"

Moira laughed, giving him another kiss. "You're welcome. There have to be some perks to birthdays. Including your cake and pie from Lulu. Want to bring either with us now, or pick them up later?"

She grinned. "I think so," Moira replied, grabbing her bag. "And I dunno how much fun they'd have. You want them to come?"

"I'm a fan of perks." He said with a wry smile, waggling his eyebrows boyishly. Following her in fully so she could get her bag, Zak smiled. "Well, they might have fun if we find that beach? Or just have fun sticking their heads out of windows."

Apparently, dogs were psychic. Niamh came around the corner, which allowed Zak the opportunity to attack the dog with petting and rough-housing.
