Like the fact that he'd climbed into a bed with another boy, who just happened to be a werewolf? It was pretty important -- more important because the boy who just happened to be a werewolf, also happened to be gay (or at least he had a boyfriend, or an ex-boyfriend). Jalil had ended himself in a strange position, that was for sure. But it'd be another ten minutes or so before Remus finally shifted in the bed beside the darker man and made a small noise-- then blue eyes opened and the werewolf looked around.. then back to Jalil.

And he smiled.

"Good morning." He was clearly still tired, and his words slurred a little bit, but it was easy to tell what he'd said, and that he was in a good mood despite looking like he'd been hit by a Mack truck the day before. It would wear off, soon. And he'd look like any normal person in the town. "Is it still Tuesday?" Was it still his birthday? Or had he just slept all the way through it?

Maybe that wouldn't have been a bad thing.

He opened his eyes again when he felt Remus shift and turned green eyes over to the smaller boy, lowering his hand down away from his forehead, where it'd been resting. "I hope so." Was his easy response, and he was finally sitting up slowly, his shirt horribly wrinkled from sleeping on it. He glanced around for a clock but didn't see one and shook his head some.

"If I slept through Tuesday I wouldn't be very happy with myself." Said with a small smile, glancing towards the window. The sun was up. He stood slowly and made his way to it, reaching out to draw the blinds back some so he could look outside. Oh, my. The sun was really up. In the middle of the sky.

"Looks like I missed work."

Blue eyes shut hard against the harsh sunlight that flooded the room. Oh. That had hurt. But one hand came up to help shield his eyes, and it wasn't that bad, after all. So he relaxed back into the bed again. "When is your birthday, Jalil?" He wanted to know, so that he could remember it, of course. He hadn't gone home to find his present yet, but he'd be pleased when he got there... eventually.

He only looked out the window a moment before he let the blinds fall back into place, and turned to look at Remus. He felt a little bad when he saw him covering his eyes, but came back towards the bed without mentioning it. He didn't apologize for many things. And apparently, he didn't make a big deal about missing work - it was so late that there wasn't much point in going in, now. He'd stop by later and apologize to Moria for skipping the day.

"March eighth." Responded quietly. The day before yesterday. He hadn't said anything, of course.. Jalil never made a big deal of his birthday, even back with his family.
