He glanced up from his place on the couch, book in his lap. And he smiled just some. "Hello, Lily." He set the book aside and touched a hand to the couch. He'd just gotten back from talking to Harry, but had no interest in expressing any of those left over emotions. She'd get all smiles from the werewolf.

Lily climbed onto the side of the sofa. "Mind if we talk for a bit?" she asked, a worried smile appearing on her face.

"Sure, Lily.. what did you want to talk about?" He knew it was something specific, because she hadn't actually spoken to him about nothing at all, in quite some time. Remus wasn't in the greatest of moods, but he hid it so well, behind that smile.

"I know I've been a bad friend lately, and I've no one to blame but myself," she started, chewing on her bottom lip. "But, I'm not sure...I talked to Harry. I know you two are having problems...but..." Lily trailed off, not really wanting to approach the topic.
