I thought it sounded a little more like an old VW refusing to start up, the ‘vwoop’ noise getting louder.
OMG! I loved this! It totally does sound like that too!!! And I laughed at this sooooooo much! My friend who's sitting next to me kept asking, "What? What's up?" and I just couldn't explain.

*dies laughing* I kept laughing at parts that I'd written, and the only person who got it was my sister (we're super-tight and she knows how crazy I am). I'm so glad you liked it! ^_^ I was practicing my dialogue writing.
