All The Reasons

It's not like he'll ever notice.

The hushed whisper of the wind through the willows brushed against the soft ebony hair, golden eyes flinting from a shadow in the darkness.

He's so stupid! He'd never know it was really you who helped break the whole thing off.

A smirk crossed his narrowed face, as his eyes scanned the area just hoping... no, just ( Read more... )

(sorry for the rather short, halfassed reply. some shit went down that I'm not dealing with very well ;-;)

"I think I can let out all I need to right here."

Was that so? Well, no use holding back for Sebastian's sake any longer. It looked like he was the one to snap first and a small cheering dancing thing went off in Claude's mind.

The fingers tightening viciously around his throat were but annoying to the butler. On a human any grip like that could easily snap their neck. Sadly if Claude were human, this small faceoff would be easily dealt and over with.

But that was not the case; he was just the same as Sebastian(he was one damn hell of a butler).

The reaction was instant; as soon as the fingers dug into his flesh, Claude swung his newly-freed hand around, gripping the crow by his black hair, in an attempt to pull his head back.

The other hand grabbed onto the black tie (after all, ribbons were just so much more fashionable & less life-threatening in these types of situations ( ... )

He continued even under the protesting squirms the bird was letting out, like it was trapped in a cage.

His grip tightened, his claws sinking further into Sebastian's jaw, fingers gripping the gray vest hidden below tightly, forcing Sebastian forwards towards Claude.

Claude..."

The warning hiss from the other was only answered by a further yank of fabric so their chests were pressed together, the rain beating steadily on them, soaking them.

"Shut up."

He hissed through his teeth and bit at Sebastian's lip.

This was Alois' order, and he couldn't disobey... no, not after everything they had gone through to get to this point.

The bite must have surprised Sebastian as Claude momentarily ceased the opportunity to cram his tongue behind the slightly-gaped lips.

His fingers ever tightening on the vest, raking downwards to rip the buttons from their holes ruthlessly the slight tear of fabric drawn out by the rain.

Claude could never disobey, and this... this was all he could think to do to add to Sebastian's suffering and misery~

There was no getting away. Sebastian would be a fool to try in his injured state; Claude would very easily catch up to him. It was very obvious he didn't plan on letting the other demon escape. But Sebastian didn't have to get away to fight back. Hard as it was, he could remain unresponsive. He was accustomed to denying himself things, and far better at it than any weak-willed human. He'd gone without food for this long; and for just as long he'd abstained from sins of the flesh ( ... )

[sorry short xD another night of no sleep; wheeeeeeeeeeeee~!]

The sound of heavy laborous breathing and the drenching pour of raindrops drowned out most of any words Sebastian would be taunting Claude with at the moment. However, he heard them as though they had been screamed into his eardrum,

"You seem very eager. Do you miss your master's body? Or perhaps...?"

...twitch insert here...
Or what, you stupid smug bastard?

"Perhaps you were the only person Alois Trancy denied that?"Nails dug into the deep fabric, and fisted Sebastian closer to him, their chests thudding against one another rather painfully and a faint slosh sound could be heard as well from the sopping clothing ( ... )

[I dont know how you function! D:> I would be a zombie at this point... xD ]]

He was in no position to be taunting Claude, but that was Sebastian's only means of fighting at this point. If he remained silent it might be taken as resignation - as if he was accepting what Claude was doing to him. (Just what was Claude doing, anyways? Sebastian might expect this sort of attack - without the malicious intent behind it - from Grell, but not from a rival demon.)

Claude didn't take the bait. At least not with any verbal response, but Sebastian could see his words were not well received. It was in the way Claude slammed their chests together, tried to stand over him almost even when they were matched for height, just to assert his authority, to prove he was the alpha in this fight. And then he drew away... As if deciding Sebastian wasn't worth it after all.

For some reason, that made Sebastian's blood boil. He realized, with a start, just how badly he wanted this confrontation. As bizarre a path as it had just taken, Sebastian was craving ( ... )

[...more time without sleep ;_; so sorry for the shortness love. I'm not functioning terribly well right now and can hardly think of reactions <33]

Raindrops dribbled down the side of his face, leaving trails down his cheek, dripping delicately from his chin down onto the soaked black fabric below him. Claude's tongue worked in licking away the dirt and mud from the open wounds in almost a motherly nature, the black specks of crusty dried blood falling back into the blood soaked ground ( ... )

It bothered him, but in what way Sebastian couldn't tell. Was it the idea, or the sight of him sampling Claude's blood that had the other demon so appalled? That sort of a meal was low by Sebastian's standards - he starved himself in search of souls he deemed worthy, and Claude certainly was never be worthy even if he was human. But Sebastian wasn't doing this to eat, even if it made him realize just how hungry he really was... In this state, pride be damned, he wouldn't mind devouring even Claude. But he'd made a vow to his young master... and as long as the contract remained, he would hold out for that soul.

I only need one soul. His soul.

Claude seemed to realize Sebastian's true intentions now. Not to eat, but to tease. To show he wasn't intimidated by Claude even if, at the moment, he was the more vulnerable. Claws dug into his wounds, but Sebastian was beyond the point of agony. So beyond it, that it almost felt good the way that salty tongue stung the fresh injuries. The line between pleasure and pain was thin to begin with, ( ... )

"Oh?"

Yes, 'oh' you smug prick.

"Is this how... your master would punish you?"

His teeth pierced down harder, thin rivuleting blood forming on the creamy pale skin. Though Claude's teeth and jawline were trembling with the force of the sudden clench, he willed himself to hold back and keep control. It was... Sebastian after all, and he was sure to be resistant and snarky in every aspect of this 'game'.

"Never."

Claude answered slowly and forced, his eyes wavering from the bird's neck. His eyes were unchanged in emotion as his white-gloved hand came up, and he gently tugged the fabric away with his bloodied fangs. And bare fingers then proceeded to draw the glasses away from his face, tucking them quickly and rushed into a pocket somewhere hidden in the lining of his tailcoat.

"Only a rat, like you... or better yet, a scavenger such as yourself deserves such punishment ( ... )

"Never.

Oh, that was actually quite surprising. Sebastian hadn't expected an honest response but he could tell that this wasn't a lie. And he'd been so sure that Alois Trancy was this type of person... It almost made him more disappointing, in Sebastian's eyes. If the boy had punished and humiliated demons when in a position of power over them, then Sebastian would at least consider him brave in addition to foolish. As it was, his opinion had no cause to change.

The rain became heavier, soaking into his clothes and seeping into his wounds. It washed away the blood but fell with such a force that it was anything but calming.

"Never forget... that you, Sebastian, are the scavenging bird, not fit to devour a meal such as Ciel,"

Well after this, that certainly would be true. It was disgraceful, how Sebastian couldn't muster the strength to actually fight Claude off. The most he could retaliate with were a few slashes at the man's chest, which drew blood but did nothing to deter the other demon in the scheme of things. It was ( ... )
