Learning the Spell

Hermione sent me an interdepartmental memo earlier at work inviting me to stop by and pick up an outfit for Lily. So instead of heading straight home from work to Godric's Hollow I've stopped over in Hogsmeade. I Apparated near the Three Broomsticks and stopped in and put in an order with Rosemerta for me to pick up and take home for supper tonight

I eat the food quickly, so that Harry doesn't have long to wait, and then I sit and look at him. "The spell that I found is really a more advanced version of Specialis Revelio What it will do is it will give you the parameters of the spells and enchantments that are used on the area, and it will tell you the last time that the person was in the area that cast the spell. Maybe if things go as well with using it for Crabbe and Goyle it might be used for other Death Eaters as well."

I beckon to him to stand up and we go into the middle of the room. The area that I point to glows blue briefly and then fades. "It glows blue when there is magic detected. If there is no magic, it will glow red. Then, you can take your wand to the MLE office and they will analyze it and let you know what the findings were
