Borges translation exercise #3

I am struggling to express anything sensibly at the moment, but the humour of this one is hard to miss. Here's number three, which is itself a translation from Saxon or some other Old Germanic language I think:

I like aspects of your translation better: I prefer your lines about the tapestry of the sword, "consumed by the swan" and "strides across Ireland".

Thanks, I think I agree. Might go back and fuse the two efforts into one that's better than both.
