So odd and somehow magical to find this post, and link, this morning, when I have spent the last several days going through my remaining collection of vintage (and mostly at least slightly tattered) clothes and accessories, culling "useful" and "not useful but cannot part with" from "eh, this can go to a new home."
The photo of Marilyn is lovely, isn't it? I think I saw it years ago, it is rather haunting . . .
I was in Edmonton in March of 1996, for the World Figure Skating Championships - Michelle Kwan's first medal at that level, and a gold at that (I'd have put her second, but that's another story). Wonderful town, wonderful people, my first taste of elk.
