Can I just 'like' this? Especially what you said about Karen. I thought she was alright in the beginning, but now she's just annoying me so much with these phantasies of her being Marilyn when Ivy is performing. Or falling off the chair in the latest ep? But nobody calls her out on that - instead Derek is Ivy about her mistakes. Isn't an ensemble performer falling off her chair just as much of a blemish and embarrassment (or even more of one, because she wasn't actually doing anything exercise-y at the time) than the star slipping or tripping once or twice when there's so much more pressure on her ( ... )

(((HUGS))) I love how out of all the people I just don't understand, the ones I meet and like join me on those little islands of perspective XD

What, she can only focus when she has her dream job? I was just thinking too about how they let Karen fall in love with the role before it was announced, but she did it through Ivy's performance, which was released online. So Ivy was early on an "untouchable success." But then when they vied for the role, Karen saw Ivy knocked down to just "lucky" and henceforth decided that she must be just as good, and could easily be better ( ... )

Initially I thought siding with Ivy was just a result of being Hilty-biased because I've liked her since my Wicked fangirl days, but Karen just continues to rub me the wrong way. I didn't even know about the for real interviews, but omg that's tacky. Especially considering her chara has a great supportive boyfriend already? At least Megan Hilty has been through all the theater experience they're portraying on screen, although she seems to like Katharine McPhee fine lol

But in this land of drama, she can't have the perfect boyfriend for long, eh? Especially when boyfriend issues make her more vulnerable and valorous etc. Oiy.

Maybe it would help if Karen actually made friends instead of demanding them?

I'm going to end up ficcing the hell out of this show, I can feel it.
