*laughs* Hallelujah, hallelujah, no? After reading your post I went to the newspaper. There will always be the the fundamentalists. But I'd like to hope that some day they will be the ones in the minority. I'd like to hope that logical people will see the flaws in the argument against homosexuality.

I always feel that straight people should stand up and speak out in defense of homosexuals. A little solidarity is needed.

The weakest argument there is, but I think this is possibly the most prevalent reason as to why people don't agree with homosexuality, is that homosexuality seems 'wrong'.

And there are people in my class who think that just because I defend gay rights, I must be lesbian.

I don't get how the naturality of homosexuality has an impact of whether it should be legal or not. For a start, we don't go around running butt naked in the forests, do we? So how natural should we be? Even if one chooses to be homosexual, society should respect that choice. Tolerance and understanding are what comes with being a civilised human person. I'm not saying that you must be able to stand the sight of two men holding hands, two men raising a child or two men kissing. But at least don't go around denouncing it and crying 'sinners!'.
