[ Hey Ataraxion, have one obviously annoyed, slightly frustrated, small brunette currently looking into what she assumes is the camera of the device in front of her. She’s only been here for a couple of hours, and already she thinks this is some convoluted dream - she just hasn’t figured out whose yet.

Brow furrowed, she lets out a long sigh, ( Read more... )

[ robot voice...huh. she’s is just going to assume he is part of the ship now. :/ ]

And what kind are you exactly?

They are called Cybermen.

[Y'know, the 'deadly Cybermen know throughout space history'? He waits for the person on the other end to click off. Or to threaten him.]

[ if one could see ariadne's expression at that very moment, clearly they would see; just how lost she was at all of that. ]

Yeah, we don't have any of that in Paris. [ or if they did, she had missed the memo on that. ]

Do you work here?

[ Peering with vague awe at the camera. ]

You think this might be a dream?

[ the woman's expression just seems to cause ariadne to sigh slightly, giving her a small ghost of a smile, as she just nods faintly to the question. clearly ariadne is still set on this all being a dream, just how to convince others, that was the true question. ]

Yeah, I can't see any other option. None of this makes any sense, and it's far more surreal then anything i've ever come across.

You can't tell me; this doesn't seem the least bit odd to you.

We have answers, just none for the question of how the hell we got here.

Answers that are of any use though? There's a difference in just answers and the truth after all.

We're on a ship capable of interstellar travel. It seems like less than 50% of us have experience serving on a vessel with this kind of tech. The original crew, save the Commander and the Captain, are missing.

Have you even stopped to wonder, just how that clearly isn't possible? [ she might sound slightly annoyed there. but it is more her frustration coming out then anything here. ] Space travel is nowhere as advanced enough for that. And if it was, don't you think; we would have heard something about it already? The governments obviously don't have that high on their list of priorities. [ so we are dreaming. ]

you're assuming we're all big team players though.

if you want answers, you can feel free to ask the questions, but considering you think you're dreaming, something tells me you're not going to.

[ can eye rolls translate into texts? cause obviously she just rolled her at this. ]

yes, obviously i assume we all will work together to figure things out.

are you saying; you don't think this is some twisted dream?

[ yep. the can also be done like so: ROLLING MY EYES AT YOU. 8| ]

you mentioned working together. not the largest leap someone can make after reading this. just saying.

no, i don't because come on, minus the spooky ship, can you tell me this is something out of a nightmare? or...twisted dream?

[ there will just be a lot of slightly annoyed looks given now. ]

You made it seem as it was impossible perhaps.

And nothing is impossible in dreams; so clearly, this all could fit into one.

Arthur!

[ she wasn't sure if she was expecting this response or not. obviously she was hoping for it. but when it came across, it sorta through her for a loop and she couldn’t help but sit and stare at the screen a moment, just trying to find the right response. please don't be a projection of mine. didn't seem like the best one after all. ]
