World of Warcraft: Cataclysm has been announced.

Can't say much for the voice acting in the trailer, but some of this stuff looks freaking cool. (Mental note: I need to go take screen shots of my favorite zones before they blow everything up!)

amg I will join the eff out of that wolf pack guild. ever since people started talking about worgen like a year ago I was like HOLY SHIT DO WANT. I'm so bummed they're alliance. but from what I've been reading of the cataclysm gossip, blizz is revamping and changing a whole bunch of horde zones and lore while mostly leaving alliance stuff alone, so maybe blizz is giving them werewolves to make up for the lack of other new and exciting stuff.

Yeah, based on what they said, the Horde got goblins for comic relief, because stuff is going to get seriously grim for the Horde.

But that's ok. I like grim storylines.

Bah, I am sad that my theory is incorrect. But still - freakin' werewolves. My guild on Thorium Brotherhood has already set up an Alliance-side guild in preparation. XD

I don't know.. the worgen all look so boring and same in that video. Maybe the chicks will look nicer but as of right now I am relieved to find out that they aren't as bad ass as I imagined (since I don't want to go back to the Alliance). I will probably level one to 10 like I did with a dranei just so I could see their starting area and do new quests but that's about it.

They said they haven't actually finished the female skins yet, so I figure they'll look different.

Aren't the alliance kind of against animal-people? Why are the Worgen on their side?
I'm pretty sure Goblins are supposed to be neutral.

The Alliance feel bad about what happened and decide to help the worgen.

The goblins are almost destroyed by the cataclysm, and Thrall offers them a helping hand.

I'm curious what will happen with the goblin towns like Booty Bay.

They're cleverly writing Goblins to have various factions within the race. The Steemwheedle Cartel being the neutral one, while the new goblins that ally with Horde will be from a different cartel.
