This wasn't so bad. Sure, the rabbits were kind of annoying -- but the good part about being attacked by them was finding out they were completely edible. He was having stew now-- bubbling hot over the fire he'd made to keep warm in his sheltered little clearing

Mel has decided to come find the guy she inadvisedly beat up, but only really knows to go look for him in the woods, so that's what she's doing.

The rabbits appear to have forgotten her - not surprising given her absence - and one decided to attack her. Not in the mood for fighting right now, she'd deflected it as a minor annoyance, and then discovered that if she carried the angry and screeching thing by the scruff of the neck, the others tended to leave her alone.

Eventually, though, it's just a matter of following the crackle and the light of the fire, swinging the demon rabbit idly as if it were already dead.

That's just not nice, Mel. It certainly has Jet on his feet, looking off toward the noise, hands on his swords. But then he blinks and looks at this new -- strangely familiar woman.

"...hey," he says, and then tilts his head. "You--" wouldn't have a sister, would you? "You lost or somethin'?"

She hadn't even thought the noise would make him twitchy, but the second it does, she glances down and throws the thing off into the undergrowth, confident it'll leave her alone for a while.

"Not really," she says, with a friendly grin and a shrug, strolling the rest of the distance casually. "Came looking for a guy named Jet camping out here."

You wouldn't happen to know where he is, would you.

"That'd be me..."

He pauses.

"Do you have a sister?"

There is a Noise in the forest, Jet. Some of the demonic bunnies are screeching a little and there's the crunch of snow and... a very strange sound.

Like leaping demon-rabbits are hitting solid ice shields or something.

"-- who is it now?!"

He came out here for peace and thinky time, you know.

Don't just yell! Maybe it's someone coming to attack! Or leap into his arms and beg forgiveness!

Or shout, "Sorry!" in a very apologetic tone as more bunnies go bouncing off ice. "Hang on!" shouts Katara, "just have to get past these dumb rabbits!"

"They scare easy. You'll see!" and he's picking up and coming over-- sweeps of his hookswords have them flying away-- one after the other, whoosh!

See? A good team as always.
