*sigh*

There are simply NO words to describe how much I love this and how much I love YOU for writing it! It's absolutely perfect and I just want to cry it's so good! :)

You've truly captured everything I love about this pairing in the fic and I am so jealous that you got it right on your first try! You are such a talented writer and I am in serious awe of you!

This is such a wonderful gift! Thank you so much for writing it for me! I know we've never met in real life, but you are such a kindred spirit and I am so grateful to have friends like you! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! :)

*Squeezes the mess out of you*

Whew! *wipes brow* I'm soooo glad you liked this. I'm ever so nervous when I try writing a new pairing, and I've never written Ginny as a main character before, so having it be from her POV was so darn tricky! But if you liked it, then I'm satisfied. It is your gift after all. ;) Despite the challenges, I had fun with this pairing, and I may write more of them in the future, if I have the time. :)

Aw, thanks! And I'm honored you wish it was longer. Maybe in the future, I'll have time to write a longer D/G piece, but for now, this was the best I could do. Glad you liked it! :D

Here from quibbler_report, and ooooh, yay, I really liked this! What a sad thing for them to have in common, but it works so well. I liked the beauty of the cemetery landscape bringing them together, and to be able to laugh together eventually and move on, all while taking place in a cemetery... *nod* It's very profound. :) And I loved how IC they both were.

Thank you so much for reading and reviewing, and for letting me know you found this on quibbler_report. I don't watch that community (though I probably will now!), so I had no idea it'd been recc'ed there. :)

I'm glad you like the choice of the cemetery for the setting of the story. And I am so pleased that you thought they were in character - particularly Ginny, who is a character I'm not as familiar with writing. I've written Draco many times, but Ginny was a bit of a challenge, and I'm glad you think I've portrayed her well!

This is gorgeous, really. I loved the whole atmosphere in this, the slow progression of their interaction over winter. This was a very visual story, to me - the vivid, elegant description made me see the scenes, like tableaus in black, white and red.

There's something very stark, clean and realistic about their encounters, while the setting is almost dreamlike. That combination really worked for me. They're both lovely here, and I peeked at your masterlist and read a few of your D/Hr pieces. I've got to say, you write a very appealing Draco - canon, very human, but with a touch of dashing romance that made my toes curl. :)

Wow, this review just made my day, thanks! :D I really was trying to convey an atmosphere, with the descriptions, so I'm glad you picked up on that, and the visual aspects of the story.

I've never written this pairing before, so I'm glad you enjoyed it, particularly Draco's characterization. He's such a fun, complex character, so I always enjoy writing him. Thanks again for reading and leaving such a lovely review! :)

I'm here from the quibbler_report where this has been recced. I loved this story. The pace of things, the descriptions, the general mood and flow of the story and the small details like the ugly woolen mittens. *beams* All together this makes one of those perfect D/G stories that I adore. Thanks for sharing!

Have your written any more D/G? If so, where can I read it please? Needless to say, I'm a huge D/G fan. :)

Wow, thank you so much. I'm glad you enjoyed this, especially since you're such a bit D/G fan! :)

This is actually my first D/G fic, so I'm afraid I don't have any others to share with you at the moment. But I'm sure I'll write more of them in the future! ;)
