I was "wandering" around the web and I kept hearing that Carolena Nericcio was now saying that you cannot use the term "American Tribal Style" (ATS) to talk about a style of belly dance unless you are specifically talking about the moves approved by her under Fat Chance Belly

From what I've been given to "understand" to be Tribal (as opposed to Tribal Fusion) you need to dance with a Tribe. And before all this that I've stumbled upon, "American Tribal Style" meant specifically dancing group improv.

Before this, I thought tribal didn't have the "fights" that Am Cab vs Egyptian did. And where does fusion go to far from bellydance to be called bellydance? We all seem to love to argue over labels.
On a related note: Whereas, I , have no idea what label to give myself.
RIght now I think I am "2 parts Am Cab, 2 parts goth, 1 part turkish, 1 part tribal, shake vigorously....very vigorously"
