“I have to go… it’s my duty.” Jack nods, a brief jerk of his head as he tries to hide his pain-darkened eyes.
Oh, but to feel such strong emotion towards a man he’d only just met-- towards a man at all-- it was wrong, and yet… to have James turn to him, to come up and take hold of him- he can offer up no resistance, can only give into the lips that claim his mouth in a kiss so filled with emotion it is all Jack could do to let it end.“Go.” He whispers, “It’s your duty.”
