I've been pondering something for the last week now and figured that before I drive myself crazy planning things out, I should just make a post and ask you guys:

I am so all for it! I think bi-weekly would be best. It gives you time to think about it and have inspiration, but not so long you forget about it.

I have to agree with at least bi-weekly if not monthly. I don't know what anyone else's life is like but having the time to come up with a decent fic a week...well it just aint gonna happen!

But yes, prompts etc are a good idea. Would there be any result to this? Ie a fic/icon/whatever voted best for that week/month/whatever?

I'm inclined to go for bi-weekly myself, just because it will be easier to manage that way and there should be a better response if it's sort of in the middle of the two.

I don't think there'd be a result to it, not if it's happeneing every two weeks. If as a community we decided to hold a fest of some kind then I'd certainly try to get something like that sorted, but it would be too much hassel to work that with bi-weekly(etc) entries.

As for the prompts, I'd open a post where the members of this community could supply us with the prompts we would be using, so that'll keep us going at least :)

Yeah I was thinking that bi-weekly would be the easiest to manage, and it is giving you enough time to get *something* done at least, heh. Glad you're up for it!

I'd be up for that, as much as exams and school will allow. I quite often need a kick to prompt me to write fic, no matter how many plotbunnies I have, its just hard to find time.

Prompts, themes and such would be excellent.

I was thinking about making this 'no strings attached' so that you can participate if you like but that if real life interfers then there's no pressure to finish :)

I'd be up for it when I don't have school/exams to compete with.

I was just saying in a reply above that the challenges would be 'no strings attached' so you could join in when you wanted, which'll be really handy!
