I never read them, because I don't much see the point, since I'll be reading them once the full book arrives anyway. And like you said, sometimes the first chapter either doesn't have anything really exciting or it ends in a frustrating cliffhanger. Better just save the trouble :P

Depends. If I am interested in a certain book and not sure if I should buy it, I check out the teaser to see if I like the writing style, how the story "flows" and so on.
Other than that, I don't really read them. Honestly, I am too lazy to read them online and then bam, it's over.

It depends. When they are at the end of a book then I usually read them. When they are online I only read it when I'm very interested in the new book...

I sometimes read them if they're for the next book in a series and it won't be out for a while. Because then I do want a little taste of what comes next. :)

Although I should start reading more of the free Kindle previews! Because maybe it won't be enough to tell me if a book is worth reading, but it should at least give me enough to know if the book is really bad!

If I'm contemplating trying a new author or new series, I'll go looking for them online to help make the decision. I don't usually read the teaser chapter at the end of a book, but sometimes if the book was absolutely fantastic, I just can't help myself.
