There is something nice to have birthday in the beginning of the year; it still feels close to New Year and things I want seem fresh :). Today, I went to accompany my Mom and my sister for some errands ... and, well, remember the last post about gadget, and that I want to buy a new cellular phone ( Read more... )

My sister has a Samsung phone that is almost just like that. Only a few of the keyboard buttons are different.

I really wouldn't advise a Samsung, they're known to be fairly bad. Two of my friends got one and they're really not satisfied with it.

but i'd go for the wwhite one. black is classy so you can never go wrong with it, but white adds sth extra

Do you think it has sth to do with the country? My friends who have Samsung LOVE their phone. They never give trouble, Samsung phones are waaaaay better than Motorolla (very fragile) or even Nokia (also fragile).

They're pretty strong, even if the battery-life might not be as long. PLUS, I already have experience with Samsung, with my mp3 player and DVD player. So far, no complain for both of them. That is why I'm willing to give Samsung a try.

Maybe then ! Here Nokia is known to be very very strong, and it is, I don't know how many times I dropped it, and sometimes from fairly high height and with force, and it never broke! (Well until now but even then believe you me it should have broken MONTHS ago, or years, or a few days after I got it ;) LG an Samsung here are not seen as a very good brand, although I've seen a lot of people have them, my friends who have them or used to said they were not reliable. But then you also have prejudice I guess, if two or three people tell you it's crap, then you're going to assume it's alwawys crap. while they might just be unlucky ;)

I bought a samsung laptop though. again most people told me not to, but people who had no idea (I don't know why samsung has such a terrible reputation for laptopts) because I made lots of research before and samsung was the best one in my price range and in what i was looking for. ah well.
