088. TGIF ...

For two days in a row, I must visited consumers' house with client. So I basically didn't stay at the office. At one point, it was great to be out of the office but I also missed the Internet connection during the day. Gosh, I'm so bad! I'm getting too addicted to Internet. But being out on the road and field did make me feel a bit tired. Thank God ( Read more... )

Isn't it sad to read the news about Sandra Bullock and the possibility of her husband cheating on her? It's like the curse of Best Actress Oscar ALL OVER AGAIN, right after Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes divorce. That is awfully sad. I'd never heard of or knew about this curse until you mentioned it, in your previous entry I think. But wow. That's just awful ( ... )

Well, there is a curse that the winners of Best Actress Oscar seems to be getting divorce or split with their beau (when they won). From Halle Berry, Reese Witherspoon, Hilary Swank ... and Kate Winslet was the last. Now, it's Sandra Bullock.

Don't get me started with HIMYM, I'm sick of the dragging on for finding the mother, and Ted is a boring lead character. I stopped watching after season 4. My sister since continues though, she seems to like Ted's attempt to find The One ^_^

That just sucks! Men suck! I still say "you go girls" if it's the inferiority complex that's got these boys shook then they don't deserve these women anyway. Losers! Okay I will stop with the bitterness towards men now, lol. But seriously guys can be such losers sometimes. Sandy and her guy seemed so tightly secured, but I guess things aren't always what they seem.

Ugh! That show is just, it can just go f itself. So can House and what else did I quit? I can't even remember but House really hurt to leave but I had to. And yeah I've had annoying lead characters before but Ted just gets duller and duller with time! And to think I thought Georgie was a loser? Ha! I've seen about 12 episodes of season 5 but after that I'm done. It's going nowhere!!

Not Friday here yet but yes, TGIF!!

I have been trying to think of shows you haven't tried yet or watch already but I couldn't come up with anything so far... Have you checked out Parenthood? I haven't myself yet but I heard good things and I'm excited to check it out but I've been rewatching Grey's Anatomy from the beginning so been kinda occupied with that.

Wow, so Sandra is likely to get a divorce also huh? Somebody mentioned it the other day after mentioning Kate and Sam are splitting up (or was that you even? LOL)

I heard of Parenthood, it has Peter Krausse in it, right? Maybe, if I get enough blurbs about it, I'll check it on. One day *g*. I can't wait until The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, Bones start next week or early April. My Fridays have been pretty quiet, with only CSI has been aired for the past two weeks on Fridays

Oh and by the way Mercy is fast rising to becoming my favorite medical show ever! Get on that fandom train right now, k? Thankx.

P.S. I ♥ you, for the Mads Langer album. I freaking love it/him. Didn't think I ever told you so I am now :)

Wow, pimping Mercy, ey? Okay ... I'll put a check on that show.

And you're welcome on the Mads Langer's album. It's my best discovery last year. I LOVE that album so much.

Yup :D I think you will love it. It focuses on nurses for a change and the doctors are in the background, well sort of. You gotta watch it to see what I mean :p

Great pick. It's going in my scrapbook as the best discovery of this year for me as per your recommendation *g*

I never being a huge fan of comedies... except for a few ones. There are a few old ones that I love like Mad About You, Cheers and the nanny... But also a few new ones like, Friends, the big bang theory, modern family and a lot more... Lately, i find comedies more rewarding than Drama. I'm not sure why... maybe because my fave dramas are very boring lately.

I'm not sure Southland is going to be a show that you'll enjoy. maybe i'm wrong... it's just a feeling! Did you try Life unexpected? my flist loves it but i don't love it that much... I'm watching it but i don't think i'll keep it after the first season!

Well, drama CAN be boring, I totally agree. To be honest, I don't think my drama is REALLY drama, you know? I think the only real drama shows that I watch currently are B & S and The Good Wife. The others are combination of crime shows or having some sort of fantasy into it. However, comedies never really work out for me. Except for few titles. I just don't get the jokes, maybe.

I have only seen Southland for the 1st episode, so I can't decide just yet. I know that many of my flist watch Life UneXpected as well. I have that but haven't decided to start watching.

The American Sit Com is a truly tough thing to get into isn't it!! I am also fickle when it comes to American humour.

Have a nice weekend AMi.

I know what you mean.

I like old British comedies like Fawlty Towers and Blackadder. And Red Dwarf was fun.

I can't even think of any recent ones I've watched. G likes a few like The IT Crowd.

Yeah, for someone who enjoy laughter, it's weird that I don't watch many comedies :D
