I though GA was okay (seriously I should finish getting dressed and hop on my train but quick thought). I liked that they broke it into days and went through the stages of grief. Not original but still it helped it move quicker for me. Of course I was also surfing the net AND reading a book at the same time so I might not have paid that much attention :) But yea, I agree Chris/Owen rocks and Mark/Callie bff moments were awesome! George's funeral was a passing moment but I'm glad they didn't draaaaaaaaaag it out. Who the heck is Amanda? Girl Georgie saved? Show how much I pay attention huh?
Yea also about the merger I think it is a bad idea to have more characters introduce. Blech! Oh well I guess we'll find out. You never know it just might be their saving grace...
Wow that book does sound dark! Did you like it though? I mean apart from the darkness did you enjoy reading it? I didn't deduce that from your review apart from you saying it was "really good." Which I guess is good enough but eh... I gotta go need some breakfast.
Well, if you were watching the episode while surfing the Net AND reading a book, I would not trust your judgment *g*. Yes, Amanda was the girl George saved. I dunno, I feel like this is not the same show I used to love anymore. same like "House". Of course new characters can be their saving grace. But I doubt it. Just like House, I miss the old ducklings ...
As for the book, YES, dear, I happen to like it and enjoy reading it. I will not put it on spotlight if I don't :)
Yes don't trust my judgment, lol. Too distracted doing other things. I agree it isn't the same show we used to love. Not at all... same with House I miss the old ducklings as well but they can never go back to that now. And especially with Jen leaving :/ Oh well, new shows take over the missing spots they left in our hearts anyway. Like GLEE :)
Haha. Okay now I get it, no spotlight for bad books :) Although I probably would spotlight it, you know me and my bitch-fests movies, books or tv. :D
I don't bitch fest much *g*. Except for TV maybe. But if I encounter bad books, I rarely put it on spotlight. I just give the bad review on Goodreads but that's it.
Oh wow you make that book sound really good! I always used to love books like that; that get really dark and that just pull you in like that. And from your description it's definetly something that I'll love, so I have to put this book on my list of to-read :)
Grey's was underwhelming, yes. I think I'll continue with it but it won't be a priority unless it picks up. I personally loved last season which probably means this one will go downhill.
Last season was also crap for me. Not even the Izzie cancer storyline can make up for the torture of watching the ghost sex stories. This is not the same show I used to love.
I think I had too high hopes for the Grey's premiere so it left me kinda disappointed. I did still like it and loved seeing the people and the show again because I do love it but the premiere could have been better.
