I now have konbu dashi broth mix (it was cheaper than the thick dried seaweed), sesame oil, hot chili oil, a tube of minced garlic, ponzu, sesame seed sauce (still no idea what it's called, the label is all in Japanese... but the people at Chao's were kind enough to write "sesame sauce for shabu shabu" on the shelf tag), the veggies, and some very ( Read more... )

Sounds interesting! I'd want to try it sometime. It sounds really good!

Yay for Macey's and slicing the beef really thin! I love Macey's. Ryan works at the one in Provo, plus we do our shopping there all the time. :)
