I’m not really up for useless people who’d hold me down, but regardless, I have things to do and places to be, as I’m sure you all do too. So here’s a proposal: why don’t all you crazy-ass lunatics actually, you know, start doing things about being stuck here

By all means, try to your hearts content. But it'll all prove futile, they don't want us to leave and have taken great lengths to keep us from doing so. In fact, I feel its safe to say that our existence here is entirely separate from the time you left, many of us come from different points of the same time line. If you were to exit the building, I feel it reasonable to assume there is nothing outside of it, and thus, you'd have nowhere to go.

I can see however that your determination is dogged, despite being entirely idiotic. I don't suppose anything I can say would dissuade you.

Then, you are inferring that we should simply stay put because there is nowhere else for us to go. If we don't find a place, we make a place-and I use 'we' loosely. Theorizing the worst isn't any better than putting yourself under if you can't work with it.

What an epiphany! I'm sure none of us ever thought of trying that. Those of us who've been here for months? Never made a single attempt to get out.

Don't get me wrong, it's nice to see someone driven to get out, and I'm definitely interested in putting my efforts toward that. But don't just assume the rest of us have been sitting on our arses. For the past couple of weeks we've been struggling just to stay alive, so forgive people for taking a breath now that things aren't insane.
