It seems to me that the worse this place gets, the more helpful it becomes.

Maybe that's just me...but i doubt it.

I think, given the change in atmosphere, and some rather obvious developments, now is the time to put our noses to the grindstone, so to speak.

Call it a gut instinct.

Lyle, Jack...anyone whom i've spoken to- are you willing to set that ' ( Read more... )

Sorry for taking a while to reply. I've been trying to get my bearings and... yeah.

But yes. Exploring is good. I've been meaning to look into some of the places that look unlocked but... not without back up. I keep seeing things moving around. Not sure if it's my imagination getting to me or not...

I'm with Lyle on this one. Backup is a good thing.

Oh, and my wrist-strap's working again. Kind of. The jury's still out on whether that's also a good thing, or whether I should start getting really, really worried.

And am I really THAT predictable? I may have to start living like a monk. Just in protest.

How much would you say the strap is working?

I'm picking up biosigns and tech, though it doesn't seem to be acquiring new data -- all the lifeform and tech extrapolation functions are still shot, so any new lifeforms or technology are just showing up as 'unknown origin'.

Teleport capability's back, for a limited definition of "back" -- temporal relocation's out, and it's not picking up on anything outside the areas we're allowed to visit. Anything behind one of those locked doors doesn't even exist, according to sensors, which means no teleporting out of this place.

Comm frequencies are down, too, and trust me, I tried over two thousand frequencies, and all of them are inaccessible. I even tried to get a fix on the frequency the a-Comms use. Nothing.

Someone's having fun with this.

It's something, though. Despite this goose chase we're all being sent on, the fact that your strap has some capability gives us something to work off of. I've tried my hand at tapping into the computer system from the Hub work, but i suppose that would be too convenient.
