A clickfest xmas for all

Hey guys, would anyone like a game from the Good Old Games site? They're having a holiday sale and since the games are at low prices I wouldn't mind gifting some games to people. TIS THE SEASON AFTER ALL. You'll mostly find adventure games and RPGs/strategy RPGs on GOG but there's some other genres mixed in there too. I thought I'd list some recs ( Read more... )

omg for real? you're the best LJ friend I've ever had.

I am seriously eying the Baldur's Gate 2 Complete. I am also looking at Neverwinter Nights: Diamond Edition, though. Which would you say is better? I'm inclined to believe BG2.

Also, THANK YOU! Someday I will have enough money to get my f-list Christmas presents!

I'm currently playing through the first Baldur's Gate but the second one is supposed to be THE definitive CRPG, although Neverwinter Nights has the better graphics lol.

Also, when you're prompted to make a GOG account you get three or four free games I think, not great games but Beneath a Steel Sky's alright.

No problem, I just need your email address to send it to.

By the way, I dunno if you like these cute little puzzle-type games, but I thought you might enjoy this: http://www.humblebundle.com/

You can pay whatever you want (include $0, I believe) for five "indie" games. The best one is supposedly Braid, but it's frustrating as all get out. So far I'm really liking Machinarium.

Holy crap that is an awesome website!

Since it's so cheap, you want to do an exchange? I can get you a game if you get me one?

It's like the site was made for meeee

Sure! Which game do you want? I've actually been meaning to get the first Phantasmagoria again.

I was thinking either that Knights And Merchants game or Age Of Wonders.

I've always liked FMVs, probably because I have a thing for bad acting.

Anyways, I adore your offer, but none of the games are for Mac. :(

That's why I love the Resident Evil series, the bad acting's part of the charm.

You can run a bunch of the games using DOSbox or SCUMMVM but yeah it's a shame that there's no official Mac support.
