Summary :
“Guess what guys?! It’s finally official! She finally said yes! We’re going out and we’re letting everyone know about it!” Jonghyun-hyung shouted to the dorm one day. Key-hyung ran to Jonghyun-hyung, his bestfriend, and gave him a congratulatory hug. Onew-hyung also went near him and hi-fived him for the great catch. Minho-hyung worriedly looked at me, and I just smiled at him. A broken, half-hearted smile. It was the best I could manage.
“You better get your act straight, Taemin-ah.” Minho-hyung said, patting my back and standing up from the couch before going to Jonghyun-hyung to congratulate him. I could hear them talking out loud, congratulating Jonghyun-hyung, but I couldn't bring myself to stand from the couch. It almost seems like I was glued there or something. I could hear footsteps coming near. Still, I was too dazed to turn and find out who it was. It didn’t take time for the person to make himself be discovered.
“Taemin-ah,” He said softly in a low voice, it was almost inaudible, “I know it hurts you so much, but you know, he’s happy.” Key-hyung managed to say without anybody else overhearing. That was when I felt the hot tears trickle down my cheeks. I could still hear the three of them in the dining room, doing cheers for Jonghyun-hyung. “You better congratulate him or else he’ll think something’s fishy.” I sighed deeply. How could I congratulate him like that? I know I could never easily let him go. But I stood up anyway, wiping my tears with the back of my hand. Key-hyung accompanied me towards the dining area where the other three were still celebrating.
“Taemin-ah!” Jonghyun-hyung exclaimed. I looked at him and mustered the best fake smile I could. He handed me a glass of wine, as Jinki-hyung said “To Jonghyun and a hopefully long lasting relationship.” I raised my glass at the same time my hyungs did. Our glasses touched with a clink, and they downed their wines. I could only stare at mine. I didn’t find wine that tasty anyway. So I looked at Jonghyun-hyung, thinking of words to say. But then the only words that escaped my mouth were “Congratulations, hyung.” I guess that was enough, right?
He looked at me as the words escaped my mouth, and I smiled the broken, half-hearted smile again, because that was the best I could do. Jonghyun-hyung smiled back at me and hugged me. I stopped breathing upon the contact, and I just patted his back as a response.
I guess from now on my smiles will always be broken and half-hearted. Because the other half of my heart was taken away and broken into tiny little pieces that might never be glued back together. And without that other half, my smile will never be the same again.

I’m happy for Jjong and the girl. Just that. The fangirl in me, died. T_T *sighs deeply* but I believe JongTae is FOREVER.
