Freedom's Just Another Word For Nothing Left To Lose has some Ronon/Elizabeth in the story. I don't if it's enough to warrant a tag though.

True. Elizabeth comes off so badly in the story; I don't know how Elizabeth fans would feel about it so I didn't think of it as one I'd necessarily recommend as a good fic for that ship.

Hmm. By comes off so badly in the story, do you mean the characterization is off or the character isn't seen as a positive part of the story? (Did that make any sense?)

Well...I think Elizabeth is portrayed as a bad leader throughout the show and that characterization is continued in the story. I like her so much better in fic than in the show generally.

Specifically, in the story, Rodney sees her as not only not understanding the magnitude and wrongness of what they did at the time (because even if you do a terrible thing for the right reasons, you're still wrong), but also not seeing it or having remorse for it now. Actually both she and Sam come off poorly. Teyla barely appears (only the mention of the Athosian mourning flower). There are almost no female characters in it. The author is a woman but I think slashers in general tend to be more more misogynistic towards the female characters (after all that is why they are slashers) so that might be why.

I love that story but I am NOT a member of the cult of Rodney. I don't think he's cute or likable or attractive. He's fine as a foil and as a friend, part of the team but I don't even really read stories where it's only him or him and one other
