i don't hate the presets (i'm not a fan, but in all honesty i think they're actually quite good at what they do) but i am exceptionally sick of hearing them EVERYWHERE. especially that 'my people' song, and their latest song 'talk like that' which they seem to have licensed out to every TV show, sports program and promo special in existence ( Read more... )

omg i love 'talk like that'

i don't watch much tv, and i don't listen to the radio, so i'm spared a lot of media over saturation and am able to judge artists based on their own merit :) lol u kno i love the presets

haha actually ignore that! totally misread your "I" for a "you". *shakes head*

anyway, think yourself lucky you choose to listen to them, rather than have the media choose for you. they certainly know how to make people bored of hearing things...

see, you probably think you don't, but i reckon once you hear a bar of one of their songs and you'll be like "oh, THIS SONG."

Nah I doubt it, I don't watch telly or listen to the radio so I'm not sure where I would have been exposed to it. I only find new music through friends or strip clubs. :D

yes!!!! they're WAY over hyped, and WAY over played.

i tend t think they're one of those bands that are popular only because of their multi-million dollar marketing budget.. the music itself is fucking ordinary.
